Purpose: To aide in better defense against a Psi-Vamp that is actively feeding off of your energies without your consent.
Outcome: To be able to temporarily nullify a Psi-Vamp from feeding off of you, and then to be able to leave the area.

Preparation

1. You must have a basic understanding of personal shielding (Please see Psychic Protection - Shielding 101)

2. You must have a good understanding and awareness of yourself and others

3. You will gain an understanding of how Psi-Vamps feed

4. You will gain knowledge of how to detach a tentacle that a Psi-Vamp is using to feed off of your energies

5. You will gain an effective method of shielding against a Psi-Vamp to effectively nullify them for a period of time

*It is important to realize that Psi Vamps may be good or bad, and feeding does not necessarily constitute either of the two. There are many Psi Vamps that are unaware of what they are doing or the effects of what they are doing, though have the best of intentions.

Once you notice...

Once you notice that someone is drawing/feeding off of your energies. First, try to find out or figure out who is drawing off of your energy. If you are able to see energetic lines, this will be easier for you then for someone that can just sense/feel energy. If you can just sense the energy, follow the energy to where it is going. Normally, this is someone in close proximity to you, and generally (though not always) intensely looking at you.

Version 1

Step 1: Second, project a highly energized shielding bubble around the Psi Vamp. I normally will charge it with a blue, friendly energy that is very delicious for most Psi Vamps. This should cause the tentacles to detach from you, then go back inside of the shielding and start to feed off of that shielding structure.

Step 2: After the tentacles are successfully feeding off of that shielding structure, create another bubble shielding around the outside of the first bubble shielding, though on the inside of this shielding create a "non-stick" surface. The best way to think of it is a Teflon coating with Non-stick Spray used for cooking (like Pam). The reason for this second shielding is that once the initial shielding structure has depleted the Psi Vamps tentacles will once again go out to look for food... though, once it hits this shielding structure, they will bounce or slip off of it. After a few moments, the tentacles will either retract into the Psi Vamp, or attach themselves to the Psi Vamp and start feeding off the Psi Vamp until that shielding is depleted. If the tentacles do start feeding off of the Psi-Vamp, then normally the Psi-Vamp will fall asleep, or get very drowsy.

Version 2

Step 1: Project a shielding bubble around the Psi Vamp that is encoded with the same energy and frequencies as Sillenite with Photonic energy. Sillenite is often used in lasers, fiber optics, and when combining Sillenite crystal type energy and photonic energy, is effective with cutting the tentacles of a Psi-Vamp.

Step 2: After the tentacles are cut, create abubble shielding around the Psi-Vamp, and on the inside of this shielding create a "non-stick" surface. The best way to think of it is a Teflon coating with Non-stick Spray used for cooking (like Pam). The reason for this shielding is that once the Psi-Vamps tentacles will regrow, and once the have regrown they will once again come looking for food... though, once it hits this shielding structure, they will bounce or slip off of it. After a few moments, the tentacles will either retract into the Psi Vamp, or attach themselves to the Psi Vamp and start feeding off the Psi Vamp until that shielding is depleted. If the tentacles do start feeding off of the Psi-Vamp, then normally the Psi-Vamp will fall asleep, or get very drowsy.
